Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Current Behavior

The game crashes after trying to render the endermen head on an entity (Like zombie, player (3rd person view modes or inventory))

Expected Behavior

Not crashing the game and behaving like a normal mob head

Steps To Reproduce

Should be simple:

  1. Get endermen head
  2. Put it on an entity trough e.g. commands or put it on yourself
  3. Render Entity (Trough a 3rd person view or opening inventory)

Environment

- OS: Windows 11
- Java version: 19
- Minecraft version: 1.20.1
- Version: alpha-

Anything else?

To get the head off just simple right-click another head piece (into the air if placeable) then the endermen head should get replaced with the head piece. For an entity you can just kill them without rendering them (teleport far away or on a server just input the command into the console).
