I have searched the existing issues

Current Behavior

soul vial unable to capture a mob

it does a right click "animation" but the item never changes and the mob never gets captured

Expected Behavior

the mob goes into the soul vial

Steps To Reproduce

right click a mob with a soul vial

Environment

- OS:                windows
- Java version:      17.0.3
- Minecraft version: 1.20.1
- Version:           1.20.1-6.0.14-alpha
