Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The addition of this feature will solve all of my problems. I am playing Nomifactory right now and it is frustrating when I have to make buffers to control item insertion by redstone.
insert "society if" meme here
Describe the solution you'd like
Same setting in the insertion side as for the extraction side of a conduit. (Always active/Active with signal/Active without signal/Never active)
Describe alternatives you've considered
Well, i just add an item/fluid buffer (like a fluid tank or a locked storage drawer with a downgrade) and redstone controlled it on output.
Additional context

Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.
sadly we don't support 1.12.2 anymore, we moved on to 1.20+ and complete rewrite, don't expect any updates on 1.12.2
so this feature exists in future versions?
not really but this great suggestion add for higher version of 1.20+, that's why i'll leave this open for now
bit sad innit
okay, i'm glad i could help
I think it'd be reasonable to have separate redstone modes for the directions and agree that it'd be handy for automation. I'll leave this open as a suggestion. I'll note new features are going to be implemented on NeoForge (so 1.20.4/1.20.5 by the time we get there), but I certainly see this getting done :)
