I am making a modpack for a community and one of the things that gets out of hand is the amount of JEI pages for stuff that really could not take up that many pages. For example, Chipped I hid almost 9000 items from the view.
A config option to hide or condense things. Mainly the glass recipes spawner recipes and soul vial recipes they are all created the same way so its not nescessary to have so many visible to jei
There are aa few mods that have a entry that swaps icon and when you click it shows the general recipe for that type so there is like 50 different styles of doors in the different woods and it shows the general recipe.
This is something we are considering doing in the future yes. We have not yet taken the time to figure out how we can best implement it.
