Is there an existing issue for this?
Current Behavior
When setting the XP obelisk to pull from an adjacent tank, it only starts actually filling once the tank it is attached to has pushed into it once before.
Expected Behavior
When turning the appropriate side config of the xp obelisk to "push" mode, I expected it to start filling up regardless of the tank's own mode.
Assuming the tank allows transferring on that side.
How to Test
Notice nothing happening.
When you quickly enable and disable the fluid cell's auto push mode, the fluid continues to transfer afterwards
Local Environment
Any Additional Information?
Also tested with other mod's version of experience, such as mob grinding utils. Also tested with other mod's tanks.
All same result.
Tested fluid containers as well as experience fluids from these mods:
But the repro steps should be as simple as using Ender IO's own Fluid Tank and XP Juice.
this maybe related to these following issues https://github.com/Team-EnderIO/EnderIO/issues/667 & https://github.com/Team-EnderIO/EnderIO/issues/674 we will look into this further
The same issue happens with the Soul Binder or both Fluid Tanks too, as long as no fluid is present inside the block's fluid container the pull function of the block doesn't seem to work.
I don't seem to be able to upload a video in here but the issue should be easily reproducible!
I regret to say that we no longer officially support Minecraft 1.20.1 - as such we will not be officially fixing this issue.
If any community member wishes to submit a pull request to address this issue, feel free to open a PR and we will review and merge it.
I will close outstanding 1.20.1 issues in a little while, to keep the issue list clear.
Thanks again for your report.
But if this issue also affects 1.21, will you guys fix it for that version and onwards? Because I didn't test it in other versions, it may affect those.
Closing as 1.20.1 is no longer being maintained, and this issue is no longer present in 1.21.1.
Please see #1156 for more information.
Thanks!
